How do I apply?
Once you are on our homepage at www.hsf.net, you can place your mouse over "scholarships" to allow the drop down menu to be viewed and then click on "apply now". Once you click on "apply now" you will be redirected to our students application site.
If you are new to our site you will first need to register with us and create a general profile. Next you will be prompted to create your academic profile (step 1). Please know step 1 is not an application for a scholarship. Here you are simply telling us where you are currently at and what your intended information will be for the next academic year. Be sure to double check your answers with the questions as once you submit, your application will be locked. If you need to update your address or contact information you can do this by clicking on your "profile". If you need to make changes to your academic profile, you will need to contact us by phone or by using the "message center" accessible once you are logged into your HSF account.
Next you will be prompted, if eligible, for step 2. This is the general application and where you begin to apply for our scholarships. If you are eligible for any other programs (aside from step 2) they will be in step 3 for you to apply to.
Does HSF accept paper applications?
No. Applicants must submit scholarship applications using the online application system. You can click here to go to our online application management system to begin to apply.
I do not know my county or my school’s county. How can I find this information?
Please visit http://zip.langenberg.com and under Dragon Software, enter the zip code and click “Go” to find the county information.
I am applying to multiple universities. What university should I put on my application?
If you are undecided about which university you will attend, please list the university that you will most likely attend. Should this change at any time during our process, it is important that you notify us immediately to update your application with your changes. You can use the message center from your online account to email us to request the changes.
Is there a fee to apply?
No. Scholarships applications should never require a fee for an applicant to apply to.
